Army officials reportedly beat children at border post

selling items on the highways near the Habur border post in the southeastern
province of Şırnak were gathered by soldiers who hit them with batons after
drivers accused them of theft, reports have claimed.
The
children were warned to quit working on the streets, and the soldiers allegedly
hit their hands with batons.
The children were
then released. Some claimed their feet had been hit as well.
