Claims Turkish president was poisoned are incorrect: Presidency

The Presidental Press Center has denied allegations that Turkish
President Abdullah Gül had been poisoned, daily Milliyet has reported.
"The claims about [the] president's medical condition in
daily Yurt today are completely unrealistic," the statement reportedly said.
Health Minister Recep Akdağ also said the president's health
condition had been improving, noting that no medical operation was on the
shedule.
The 62-year-old president suffered from increased fluid and pressure in both ears and had to cut a trip to
Kyrgyzstan
short on Aug. 23 in order to return home for treatment. The recurring
ear infection is something the president has struggled with for years.
Upon his return, he was immediately rushed to Hacettepe University
Hospital.
