Jazz Festival Oğuz Büyükberber invites three leading
European improvisers to
Salon İKSV for an evening of abstract folksy chamber music filled with dramatic contrasts between dense virtuosity and intimate colors.
Well-known in the international improvising scene, these maverick musicians play regularly in overlapping projects in Holland and Germany. This time Büyükberber sets in motion an unusual quartet that pits three winds against a piano. The repertoire will be Büyükberber’s unconventional improvisation structures that allow vast exploration. The concert takes place at 10:30 p.m. as part of the European Jazz
Club Concerts.
