Gas leak kills five family members in Istanbul

Five people, all from the same family, died from gas poisoning due to a leak at an apartment in the popular neighborhood of Gaziosmanpaşa in Istanbul. Hamide Özyapı, 34, and her four children Gülay, 16, Güliz, 13, Kamil, 11, and Yusuf, 9, were found dead in their home, according to Doğan news agency.

The bodies were discovered by other family members who became alarmed after not hearing from their relatives.
