President Abdullah Gül has held a meeting in Ankara with Mor Filiksinos Yusuf Çetin, the Patriarchal Vicar of the Syriac Orthodox Church, along with an accompanying delegation.

EU Minister Egemen Bağış also attended the meeting, which was closed to the press.
